We are Raivat Ved and Raju Bhatiya, co-founders of Mountain Souls — two ordinary souls brought together by the extraordinary power of the mountains.
Our journey began on a trek in Manali, led by our mentor and inspiration, Suresh Patel Sir. We were just two strangers chasing the thrill of the outdoors — but something about that trip changed everything. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and silence that spoke volumes, we connected through shared steps, shared struggles, and shared dreams. That’s where Mountain Souls was born — not on paper, but in spirit.
Founder’s Story
Born and raised in Gandhinagar, Raivat has been deeply connected to nature from a young age. With over 12 years of experience in managing camps, outdoor activities, and nature education, his calm presence brings a sense of trust and peace to every journey.
He is a certified mountaineer, trained in handling high-altitude terrain, rescue, and safety protocols.
His passion lies in bird watching, wildlife spotting, and creating meaningful connections with both people and the outdoors. For Raivat, trekking isn’t just physical — it’s spiritual.

From the city of Surat to the heart of the Himalayas, Raju brings unmatched energy, leadership, and bold spirit to every trek. He’s the one who lifts the group when the trail gets tough — always ready with a laugh, a push, or a new path to explore.
A certified mountaineer, Raju is trained in high-altitude survival, group safety, and terrain management. Whether he’s leading a challenging summit or cruising through winding roads on a bike expedition, he’s always at the front — exploring the unknown with confidence.
He believes that real bonds are made in the wild, and some of the best friendships start with a backpack and a mountain.
